Larry Bowman is an Applications Engineer located in Austin, Texas and has been with Cadence for over 15 years. He has 21 years’ experience in the EDA and/or Electronics Industry, focusing on Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering and PCB Design. Bowman has a BSEE from the University of South Florida.
As an Engineering Consultant for Cadence, Bowman’s special areas of knowledge include PCB Methodology, Package Methodology, PCB Library Development and Mentor to Cadence Translation. As an instructor Cadence’s Education Services, Bowman is certified to teach Allegro PCB Editor, Allegro Package Designer, Allegro Design Entry HDL Front-to-Back Flow, PCB SKILL Programming Language and Allegro PCB Librarian. The list of products he is proficient with include Allegro Design Entry, Packager XL, Allegro PCB Editor, Allegro Package Designer, Allegro Constraint Manager, and Allegro/APD SKILL. Some other skills that Bowman has include PERL programming, Unix Cshell scripting, and Unix AWK programming.
