Q. Yikai, tell us about your background. Yikai: First I am glad to become a member of CDNUsers to take advantage of exchanging ideas for solving problems with Cadence tools. I am from Vancouver, Canada, currently living in San Diego and working in RF Micro Devices.
In 1986 I graduated with Master Degree of E&E in China and worked in Beijing IC Design Center (Now called China Huada Integrated Circuit Design Group ) as IC design engineer. Then I worked as Avant! Application Engineer in China and Singapore. In 1998 I moved to PMC-Sierra in Vancouver, as Physical Design CAD Engineer. Last year I was offered a job in San Diego as Staff Digital CAD engineer. I am used to enjoying outdoor life in Vancouver and now I am enjoying sunshine in San Diego especially in Christmas season.
